The Signposting Service

The Aberdeenshire Signposting Project is a free, confidential and non-judgemental service which works with people throughout Aberdeenshire to find solutions to the non-medical issues affecting their quality of life, mood and wellbeing.

What we do

We help people connect to the services, organisations and community groups who can help address those issues affecting mood and well being. We also help people to overcome the barriers they face to getting the help they need. Our aims are:

  1. Improving mood
  2. Reducing isolation and loneliness
  3. Improving wellbeing
  4. Accessing services
  5. Connecting within communities
  6. Overcoming barriers
  7. Moving forward

We can help if patients are:

  • Suffering from or at risk of developing mild to moderate mental health problems due to unresolved issues in their lives
  • Over 16 years of age
  • Over 55 and isolated or lonely
  • Experiencing significant or life changing events which are impacting on their wellbeing
  • New parents
